Malachi 1:9 says “Go ahead, beg God to be merciful to you! But when you bring that kind of offering, why should He show you any favor at all?” asks the Lord of heaven’s armies. To often we give God as little of ourselves as we can without feeling stingy and then ask for His all in return. Now, our God is so amazing, so loving, that He does anyways. He gives His all even to those who don’t give Him any. This should be all the more reason to give all that we possibly can and the best of it yet we don’t as if what we have isn’t God’s already given to us by his grace.

  1. This devotional thought of your was sent to me after i wrote a blog post that tied in nicely.

The Holy Spirit is obviously saying the same thing to both of us even thought we are on opposite sides of the Florida Coast.

I added this post of yours to the comment section of that post i did. Here is the link to see how i added it to give you full credit where credit is due: https://tombeetlebailey.wordpress.com/2015/11/12/time-to-pledge/comment-page-1/#comment-208

The post is above that comment so no need to put another link in here. Thank you for your inspiration (that comes BEFORE the Lord lays something directly on my heart) and for your confirmation (that comes AFTER the Lord has laid the same or similar thing on my heart).
